I withdrew the sale last year after some spot-on advice form club members that having just had a son I’d be the coolest Dad in the world by keeping it!..well he’s one now and I have a new job which requires a car. Only a lottery win now will save my lovely van so it’s up for sale again!
It was restored in 2004, though Sam at PfP did a sterling job in 2007 by removing the roof and re-welding to stop the pop-up hinge leak. Last year I also got a new roof canvas fitted by Dormobile on my way to a beach in Cornwall. Since I bought it i have had a Laurie Petit Recon engine (15000miles ago), almost all the braking system has been replaced, new exhaust and heat exchangers, Bluebird awning, bike rack, starter motor, new headlights, and its been serviced yearly at John Forbes by Gary. MOT due March, but I can sort that if required!
Its insured at 7750 but im asking 7600 ono…even in the credit crunch!
