1973 Porsche 914 Crystal Blue (as seen at VAGfest)

Not 100% sure I want to do this, but I need something a bit more spacious. However, If I dont get the price I am looking for, I will keep it, save up, and then buy something else :stuck_out_tongue:

Its a 1973 VW Porsche 914 1.7 FI

I have here a Californian Import 914 (they were all left hand drive anyway apart from a couple). No rust, not even a little blister. It still runs the original fuel injection and it works flawlessly. Runs on a set of Flat 4 fuchs. Seats unsplit, dash perfect, Has a momo steering wheel but original wheel will be sold with the car, since I have owned it, it has had a pampered life.

It has been looked after mechanically by Dennis Dunlop at Uro in Ayr (oldschool VW guru) and Greame at RPM in Glasgow (porsche specialist). Just had replacement front strut inserts and weltmeister bumpsteer kit fitted. Car is lowered by 2 inches

The car was steam cleaned, treated, wax injected and undersealed when I got it and has been garaged and only driven on nice days. If the car reaches close to my asking price I will include the registration 914 EWP with the car (valued at £1800) and miscellaneous bits and bobs I have laying around for the car including an Airflow cover.

I will post some pictures as they speak a thousand words. If there are any areas you would like to see I can take pics of these too.

I spent a long time looking for a straight, un-molested 914 and would urge anyone interested to come and have a look. If you’ve done your research you’ll know that early Porsches had a tendency to rust quite a lot which is why you will find cheaper 914s on the market. This is a solid rust free car so don’t be fooled by cheaper alternatives! A full resto would cost way in excess of what i am asking. And remember you are getting a valuable 914 registration too

£7000 ono

I may consider selling reg plate separately making it a cheaper package but would prefer not to split

I may also consider a swap for a bay camper (Pre 73 please, but other offers considered).

Very, very nice

It is isnt it.

I’ll be sad to see it go. I would keep it, but im only allowed 2 cars at a time :frowning:

Thats a seriously decent car. I would have if it were not for the fact that I now have 4 cars, have no cash left, and would have no means of fitting the nipper in the back, well legally that it. Good luck with the sale.

seen on westy forum that car is no longer for sale.
