253 LB ft Torque wrench

Hi Folks

Has anyone got a heavy duty 253 ft lb torque wrench that I could borrow or hire to put the nut back on the flywheel of my 1600 engine after fixing an oil leak. If you don’t want to see it leave your hands, you are welcome to pop round to Leith and I can use it on the spot. Its an expensive bit of kit for just one job and the repair bills are mounting rapidly after the last trip.

Scrap that call. Remembered how I did it on the back wheels of the Early Bay I used to have when working on the brakes. Mark the nut and the back plate before lossening and then retighten up to the same position and it will be just as good as it was before (presumably 253)!
