Hi I am Finlay

My dad died about a year ago and I am tasked with selling his 65 Splity Camper Van.

My dad was Ian Flint and back in day he could be seen about Corstorphine in blue 65 Splitty

I got it running for a while but think I now have a choke issue as first time I ran it till it was running warm the engine stalled, though it started again fine it stalled every time I took foot off gas.

It has never started again since, been few months now.

Upshot is I am not great mechanically and need to find some one in Edinburgh who can fix the van so I can sell it for my Dad’s estate

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Sorry to hear about your dad.
I know Davie at Solway campers has worked on the van in the past i think it might be worth speaking to him again.
