This is my latest VW related purchase. 
Picked up this ex Targa Rally VW Corrado down in Hexham at the start of Feb, and it’s been a lot of work since then to get it back into shape as a presentable road car. Needed quite a few bits done. The main jobs I’ve done so far are-
Interior- New instrument cluster to replace broken one, seatbelts reinstalled, radio reinstalled, race style steering wheel and boss removed and stock steering wheel reinstalled, new interior door cards, sunroof panel reupholstered, and other new interior misc parts. Next it’s getting a flat floor with carpet put in the back, as I’ve decided not to run back seats at this time. That may change in the future, though!
Exterior- New 17” BBS style rims, 20mm spacers all round, new G60 brakes, new front grille, new front panel to replace bent old one, and paintwork all round.
Next, it’s booked in for a new windscreen as this one has a crack, and I’ve got a mate who’s going to weld in a mid section resonator to the exhaust as it’s too loud for my liking.
So, bar a couple of small jobs its pretty much ready for the road. There is still a tonne to be done to get it perfect, but I’ll get there eventually, and I’ll update this thread with any interesting/major works.
