Due to commitments my beetle project is up for sale.
It is a 1969 1300. Tax exempt. Now with early front and rear panels.

I have owned it for about 5 years and spent alot on completing the welding. The body is now ready to have doors, bonnet & deck lid lined up and filled/prepped for paint.
Replacement Panels; Frame head, floor and channels, front valance, front nose sections, front lower arches, Lower door pillars, Lower 1/4 panels, rear arch bolt panels, rear body to chassis/arch panels, rear tail sections, rear valance.
Included is a 1300 engine, parcially rebuilt with new rod tubes and seals, full gasket kit, alloy rocker covers, pulley, Good barely used exhaust, New heat exchangers, nearly new Solex carb, belt, dizzy, dynamo, fuel pump, new manifold studs all included.
Front early bonnet included. Will need a bit of work. 60s deck lid also included. Front hinges painted. Fuel tank, also included.
The front and rear suspension is untouched and will require a strip down. The front axle is currently removed and the car is on casters.
The steering box has been cleaned up painted along with the track rods. Column and black leather steering wheel included. New coupling and steering damper.
The brakes are discs at the front and drums at the rear. I have replaced the seals in the calipers and cleaned up and primed outer caliper surface. Master cylinder has been cleaned and painted. Along with pedals. Nos clutch cable included.
The wheels have been powder coated in pearl white and new tyres fitted. Never driven since fitted. Cost £200
The wiring loom and all electrics are included, Excluding dash switches as I had bought racing style switches and flushed the dash to suit. Drill out or do something different?
The front and rear arches have been stone guarded. The inner and outer floors have been etch primed.
Two original doors and two spare doors included. Originals for door parts, handles, glass, etc. Windscreen has seen better days.
I do not have an interior or hood unfortunately.
** I do however have lot of parts collected, available for sale to the buyer. Possibly open to all at a later date. (Please Do Not ask for anything before the car has sold!)
