Picked this little beaut up last week as a new daily driver, to replace the worlds most boring, and worst car I’ve ever had to drive, an Audi A3. (I’d STRONGLY, STRONGLY recommend against buying a modern Audi/VW with the 1.5 TFSI engine, it’s a dog.)

I fancied something a bit more interesting, and this is definitely a special wee bug! One of only 500 made with the 2.3L VR5 engine. Vortex bodykit, and BBS rims straight from the factory. Genuinely loving it already. I have some minor plans for it, but the exterior has been tastefully modified slightly and is in pretty much mint condition, and that’s really all it needs. Interior wise, some small upgrades and that’ll be about it!

First job, interior dash centre console removed and sent away for paint. It annoyingly comes from factory as plastic with that horrible, thin rubberised coating, which was all scratched particularly around the radio. Bit of a faff getting it out, but will look much better when it’s back.
