looking to put discs onto my bug,( '69 ) looked at all the usual suspects for convesion, big boys toys, cool air, machine 7 ect… has any one fitted any of these guys conversions and more importantly have they been any good???

I’ve got discs on the front of my bug, I’m not entirely sure where they where bought, but unless you’re going for some all out cross drilled 6 pot setup then I’d imagine that it’s pretty much the same product from a different shop?
As far as shops go, I personally wont ever spend another penny with Big Boys Toys, had a few problems with them awhile ago & their customer services are only describable as f**king awful!
If it’s just a factory front brake setup don’t count out the likes of GSF over in glasgow or perhaps euro car parts here in edinburgh.
never dealt with big boys toys but heard the same as ally is describing from my dad.awfull customer service and as far as i hear.cant give a sh*t.

thanks but i already have a new beam ect.
i know that a couple of the conversions use bolt on brackets to hold the calipers in place instead of new spindles, also one company told me that i need new dropped spindles for clearence reasons as my bug is already lowered yet another said it wouldnt be a proplem. :think
If you gave an adhustable beam, then you could just use standard disc spindles, don’t see why you would need dropped ones.
Kampervan would you be willing to split that lot & if so what would you be looking for for the adjustable beam?
