Anyone going to Crail on sunday
Depends what I can do on Saturday. I’d like to come and spectate, either in the car or the Bus but I’ve got a shedload of work to do this weekend. I hate being a grown up. :axe

went up to crail today, weather was dry but windy as you would expect with the tracks location, was surprised and very amused at the vast array of hairdryers and washing machines on wheels. boy racers never had cars like that im my day (maybe im getting old) “no comments please”

do you think it will be worth while going up on the 16th and where is the track is it easy to find and how much does it cost to get in and watch?
easy to find M8 just get to Crail and you cant miss it, was £7 to get in today, dont know if it will be same on 16th though, if the weather is fair im hoping to go back up
got to agree with Davey a good day out some nice machines flying down the strip,think the 16th will be better as its an event rather than todays turn up and run so i would say it will be busier,you will just end up nipping the wifes head about getting a big motar to fit in the bug lets see i could sell my red bug put another £1500 to it and buy an (maher) engine to fit straight in the new bug 0 - 60 in 4 yes i did say 4secs street legal hmmm :think
mind you i think the wife heard Davey mention the £4500 price tag :axe

I think the problem with Crail is the vast ammounts of money the owner wants to put an event on, best thing for us to do is VW vs The World at every event & pay the entry fee instead of the huge amount to hold an event!

Anyways, YES - the bad thing about Crail is it costs us too much to host a Volksfling show there, BUT of course we can turn up at any open day and strut our stuff for laffs - 'specially if one of our numbers’s doing 13’s in a Maher powered street Bug!!! Bloody 'ell - Nice one Davey!

The 16th Oct. meet looks great for a wee showdown - it’s what most of the ‘boy-racer’ club guys are there for anyway. Let’s hope the weather’s dry again…
