Anybody got a flywheel locking tool or suitably drilled steel bar that I could borrow to remove the flywheel off my ‘learner’ engine. Its taking up too much spare in the spare bedroom biggrin.gif
Will be at the blether tonight, but probably left it too late for anybody to see this.

Put the sparkplugs in. Get a T- bar and extend it to the left. attach impact socket of appropriate size to T-bar. Hold socket on nut and whack end of T-bar to the left with rubber mallet, on compression stroke. Good sharp blows mind. Bolts will come out a treat. I did this on 2 engines a few weeks back no probs. I now say locking flywheels are for bufties. Cheers for that tip Justavan, I was a Buftie, now i’m a believer heehaw.gif
