Just got Herbie back on Friday, after 3 weeks away with Sam at PFP coachworks. The car’s had both floorpans, both heater channels, and the frame head bottom plate replaced. Along with various little patches here and there to make it all go together much nicer- inner arches etc. The inside has been coated with Hammerite, and the outside/underneath of the car fully undersealed. Really, really happy to have had this all done as I’ve known for a while now it was gonna need doing! Spent the weekend getting all the interior back in, now just to get ready for the better weather! Roll on the summer, and many more STURDY miles in Herbie!
(Kept the post to just 5 images from the work being done, but I have a load of them. Sam was great for keeping in touch and getting pictures of what was being done for me.)
