LVWC Rolling Road Day 2025

•••LVWC Rolling Road Day•••

Hi all, we are really excited to announce that the Lothians Volkswagen Club will be hosting a Rolling Road Day at Sitech Racing in Dunfermline, on Saturday April 26th beginning at 9.30am.

The day will be mostly aimed at classic and retro cars of all makes and models, but we will accommodate some more modern cars too, if there’s interest! We are inviting our friends from the Pentland Classics group along too, and if anyone from any other neighbouring VW or classic car clubs wishes to come along and have a shot on the Dyno- please contact me directly with your name and what you’re bringing and I’ll add you to the list. We need a minimum of 10 cars, and can have a maximum of 35.

YOU MUST BE ON THE LIST TO HAVE YOUR CAR ON THE ROLLING ROAD, SO PLEASE ENSURE YOU CONTACT ME DIRECTLY.

Price is £50 per car, and that includes up to 3 runs on the dyno, and a printout of the results. (you can have less runs if you choose- but the price will remain the same.) Please bring cash on the day.

On the day we have Aidan Galloway, and Tartan CarMe coming along who are both YouTube Vloggers and are going to cover the event for their channels. We also have Sean from Moments In Focus Photography to capture some photos the cars doing their thing on the dyno.

As a club we have to add a disclaimer in advance however- that if you choose to run your car on the dyno you do so at your own risk, and if for some reason there are any issues- LVWC will accept no responsibility.

We will have trophies for the following categories-
-Fastest Aircooled,
-Fastest Water-Cooled,
-Fastest Post-2000,
and the highly coveted
-Slowest Car Of The Day.

We are really hoping to make this a great event, with a nice variation of cars- so please let us know if you guys can make it along. We hope to see a lot of you there, and let’s see how many horses our pride and joy’s still have left under the bonnet!

NOTE- the Dyno at Sitech is a 2WD dyno only. So can only accommodate FWD or RWD cars. Unfortunately no AWD/4WD cars will be able to participate.
