Ok time to bite the bullet my MK4 1.4 16v e requires a gearbox to get it back on the road i cant afford to fix it
I have been quoted various prices from £400 (dubshack) upto £1400 (from VW)to get it fixed/replaced
pics below car is minus the 18" alloys now though but there 4 steelies with brand new tires car is lowered 40mm all round on brand new GMAX kit Tints all round and a few choice interior touches.

roughly 103k full service history and all paper work present including SORN.
MOT until july 2008
Will need trailored as there is no gearbox in it 
looking for around £1k ono all offers invited i would consider a swap px for any other member of the VAG family
