MOFFAT RALLY- SUNDAY 30TH- ROADTRIP
Hi folks, some of us this Sunday are planning to head down to Moffat rally- this is just as spectators. Not as part of the show.
We will meet at The Steading (EH10 7DU) and LEAVE THERE for 10am.
It is 47 miles to Moffat from there- on some great roads for those that haven’t been down that way. Google maps says it’ll take around an hour to get there, so please make sure you’re fuelled up before we set off! There aren’t any fuel stations/stops en route, However there are some in Moffat.
After we leave the show, you are welcome to make your own way back up the road the same way we came down if you wish, or as long as the weather is nice some of us are gonna take the long way home, via St Mary’s Loch, Innerleithen, and over the Granites to the A7- where we’ll go our separate ways! Some BEAUTIFUL scenery out this way. Weather is set to be dry so should be a good day.
Let’s get as many auld (and new) VW’s out for a nice trip as we can!! I want to see a convoy, a FLEET, as far as the eye can see of some of Germany’s finest!
