It’s obviously in the genes
My neice has just got her first VW Beetle, so the Beano is getting a brother! - he’s a 1973 purple boy in need of much love & attention called Dave. 
Over the next year he is getting a new engine, lots & lots of loverly new parts & a whole new respray (he will be even more purple ) :lol: and a new leather upholstery job. There was talk of cow hide at one point - we will see anyway I’m sure he will look really fab.
When he’s done he’s going to be entered into a fun run from London to Brighton & I am going to be Co Driver!!

We don’t think he’ll be ready in time for this June but deff next June 2009
I have pictures of how he looks right now which I’ll load up as soon as i re figure out how I did it the first time!!
