im wondering what is causing my 97 polos revs to dip when car stops at lights etc ?also sometimes rev counter needle (but not engine) to flick up ??. think started since getting belts changed(timing,fan and alternator). car is not cutting out or anything and running ok,just annoying B) /
Throttle body can cause problems on this model, my SEAT 1.4 APQ '98 had similar problem that developed into intermittant cutting out/stalling- cured with new throttle body. New ones from dealer £300+ but I got one brand new boxed from ebay for £100 or so.
If everything else checks out ok go for faulty throttle body!
