I have recently joined the forum as I am trying to sell my VW Camper from 1983, and was looking for any advice and to see if anyone might be interested in buying it.
We have owned the van since 2021. Since that time we have had alot of work done on it, and I would be happy to share the repair history with anyone who might be interested. The current mileage is 62,500, and it runs on unleaded petrol. Not included in the pictures but in fine working order is a pop up bed in the roof of the van.
There were a number of repairs that needed done to it to get it running, and although we’ve undertaken these over the past few years, we haven’t been able to use it as much as we would have liked.
I have included a picture - there are areas of rust on the side and the driver’s door- our garage has advised this is superficial. We have been using a garage in Edinburgh for the last three years who have been extremely helpful in giving us advice and doing work on the van. They have checked over and say that it is in good condition and is ready to be sold.
