lol, no it’s not ilegal to change the face aslong as you know what you are doing, now running with a kph speedo, that’s a different matter all together!

Yeah my last bike had a kph speedo aswell, telling the powers that be that it’s an original part doesn’t seem to make any difference, my choices where change it to a mph one or get a sticker for the glass with mph on it! :rasp

I’m sure Seamonsta had one years ago that was just calibrated; “Town”, “Country”, expletive! - or something like that.

Never thought of that format Alan - no bad tho! 
My custom 100 MPH spare dial was sprayed in a variety of colours from leftover rattle cans, looking a bit like a colour blindness test card in the end. Then the legends ‘30’ ‘50’ ‘70’ ‘err…’ and ‘OH SH!T’ were dobbed on in fluorescent fabric paint. It was meant for Eva, but I never actually fitted it - some young Dude back in 1991 liked it so much he paid me £20 for it… 
Good to see the craze is having a wee revival tho!
