Help, I can’t get my 1600cc van to tickover, New plugs leads and cleaned out carburretor but still no joy.
Apart from tick over it runs ok.
Any suggestions welcome

Check for inlet manifold leaks particularly at the rubber boots by spraying at them with wd40
I had a similar problem with my 1600 1303s and found a very small piece of dirt in the idle jet on the right hand side of the carburettor. I couldn’t believe that this was the cause! Certainly worth having a check?

All good now. Re checked the jets you suggested and cleaned out by pass screw as well.
Nothing obvious to see but every little helps.
