timinhg and points

is there any body that could come to my house and help me with the points and timing please?

Sorry mate, I live miles away. Get yourself a Haynes manual or something similar and give it a bash. Best way to learn.

i have tryed and got a manual ill always try it my self first and if i get stuck ill as some one thats why ive asked

I bought a strob timming light and feeler guages to do mine and that seems to be the secret. I read up on it a bit cos my engine is not the origional so had to reseach the point and firing angles, it all work and aint to hard once you’ve done it once. You are welcome to have a shot with the strob and that, they live in prestonpans if its any good.
