Is anyone local to leith/Newhaven handy with a welder? And actually owns one? I’ve been trying to get a bolt out of the exhaust/head on my T3 but there is no actual nut or Allen key fitting and it’s just the thread. I need a nut welding onto it so I can get it undone. At some point I know I’ll need to get a welder and learn how to use it but it’s not going to be soon

If you don’t have luck with finding someone with a welder mate, maybe buying yourself a broken screw/stud extractor would be a decent compromise. Called an ‘easy out.’ Drill a wee hole in the bolt and then this will grip it. Found these on eBay…
A good stud extractor is also worth a try, pick them up from halfords/amazon etc pretty cheap give it some heat first.
