The new Caravelle has a wobbly grip. When you put your hands on the top of the wheel you can turn the grip. Anyone got any ideas on how to fix this.

Had this problem with the Passat.
Tried to sort it by drilling a few small holes through the grip rubber and just into the core ring.
Then injected some Araldite into the holes and worked the loose grip a good bit to spread the glue around the core.
After clearing up one sticky mess, it worked ok for a couple of weeks but the glue lost it’s grip in the end - probably due to constant wheel manipulation & hand sweat in city traffic!
Might be better sourcing another steering wheel in long run…? :rolleyes:
